Gracen Azariah was born on January 2, 2020 at 12:37 am, weighing in at 6 lbs and 15 oz with a length of 20 inches.

Mom Roxanne and spouse Sean have been together since September 11, 2001. The couple met and have been dating since the middle school years. They have been together for a total of 18 years and got married on September 12, 2015. Since getting married, all the couple ever wanted and hoped for was a baby. However, infertility became a factor due to Roxanne’s diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Sean’s low sperm motility issue. After trying for two years to conceive on their own, they decided to seek help from the Fertility Institute of Hawaii. They did one round of Clomid and Provera treatment, but weren’t successful.

The couple was then given the option to do a round of IUI treatment. Given that the chances of success for IUI were quite low, they chose to move onto IVF right away, under the guidance of Dr. Frattarelli. After their first round of IVF, they finally conceived and now have a healthy and beautiful baby boy.

“Although IVF was a struggle, it was totally worth the wait because now we have our blessing Gracen Boy!”
