Military Fertility Treatment in Hawaii
The Fertility Institute of Hawaii, is a proud supporter of our brave men and women who serve in the U.S. military. Our Military Discount Program offers a 25% discount on qualifying self-pay treatments. Our program will provide benefits to military personnel who are active-duty, reservists, and retired veterans (and their spouses).
Compassion and understanding:
Dr. John Frattarelli served for 13-years in the United States Army before leaving with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Frattarelli trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Bethesda Navy Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health. During his tenure in Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center, he was the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Division Director, as well as the IVF Program and Medical Director.
As the current Medical, Laboratory, and Practice Director at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, he personally knows the hardships and sacrifices that families in the armed forces make. Eligibility requirements:
- Active U.S. military or reservist with U.S. military identification card
- Must be a current or new patient
- No insurance coverage for fertility treatment
- Patients may not use if enrolled in a clinical trial or research study

- Initial consultation and follow-up evaluations
- In-office procedures: Ultrasounds, sonohysterography (saline sonography), blood-tests
- Timed intercourse and natural cycles
- Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
- In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
- Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
