The Fertility Institute of Hawaii is the premier IVF facility located in the Pacific Ocean in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, also known as “the Gathering Place.” Oahu is the third largest Hawaiian island and is home to a diverse population and a variety of cultures. With an average temperature of 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit and great trade winds, anytime of the year is a good time to visit for a treatment cycle.
The clear blue waters of the many beautiful and pristine beaches contrast with the nightlife and picturesque city line of Waikiki. If you are a history aficionado, Iolani Palace and Pearl Harbor are a must see. If you crave small town fun, a drive to the scenic North Shore and the quaint town of Haleiwa for some authentic shave ice may suit your palate. If you happen to visit in the winter months, the waves on the North Shore are probably some of the largest that you will ever see. Did we mention that whale watching season is also peak in the winter months!
There is something for everyone here on Oahu, plenty of hiking destinations with beautiful views and waterfalls, and of course, plenty of shopping too. Be sure to pack your sandals, ‘slippers’ as we like to call them, your Aloha attire, and be ready for the vacation of a lifetime, all while receiving care at our state-of-the-art facility.
Airport
Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu is Hawaii’s major airport and the entry point for most visitors. All major domestic, as well as numerous international carriers service Oahu. The International Airport in Honolulu offers many convenient international flights. If you are lucky, you may even be able to find a direct flight, depending on your departure city.
Accommodations
There are a wide range of accommodations in the Honolulu and Waikiki area to meet your travel needs. We are located in downtown Honolulu less than 2 miles from Waikiki. Many patients will choose to visit the neighboring Hawaiian Islands during their stay with us.
Finding a hotel is rather easy. The majority of hotels are located in the Waikiki area, which is only 2 miles from our Institute. Hotels vary in price range and in the amenities that they offer. Please contact us for a discount code and include your treatment dates.
Getting Around
Rental car, shuttle, taxi, or public transportation are all great ways to get around Oahu. The city transportation system, TheBus, has convenient stops and routes to service all parts of the island and even offers a visitor pass for multiple daily use.
