What is Fertility Preservation?
Fertility Preservation provides options for many people, including single women, men, same-sex couples, as well as those who may be going through any type of chemotherapy treatment. Fertility preservation involves a woman freezing her eggs or embryos (fertilized eggs) at a younger age in case she needs to use them at an older age when she is more likely to experience infertility. Men may choose to freeze sperm for various reasons as well, which could include going through any type of cancer therapy, deployment or overseas military orders, and the like. All fertility preservation treatment is available locally and here at FIH.
