Medical Assistant

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in both front and back office:

  • Assisting the provider with appointments and in-office procedures, by way of scribing, set-up, and EMR patient input
  • Answering multi-line phones
  • Monitoring and helping to order necessary supplies
  • Phlebotomy blood draws and giving, as well as teaching, patients how to administer injectable medications
  • Providing excellent customer service to our patients

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must have completed formal MA education/certification
  • Strong phlebotomy skills is a plus
  • At least one year’s experience as an MA, and have been actively working as an MA in the past 6 months, is preferred
  • Background in women’s health and fertility/IVF/GYN experience, preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, hard-working, energetic, dependable, and punctual are a MUST
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Speaking a second language is a plus
  • Full-Time position, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday hours

IVF – Coordinator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Helping to coordinate all aspects of an IVF cycle
  • Scheduling IVF patients and appointments
  • Medication and injection teaching
  • Answering patient questions about medicines and treatment under direct discretion of the physicians
  • Assisting/chaperone patient examinations or procedures
  • Recovering patients after minor surgical procedures
  • Keeping proper and accurate records by both electronic and paper charts

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to work independently after appropriate orientation and training
  • Experience in an OB/GYN, Infertility, IVF office; a PLUS but not mandatory
  • Speaking a second language is a plus
  • Full-Time position, Monday – Friday, rotating Saturday hours

Medical Billing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering a multi-line phone system
  • Collecting on past payments
  • Posting payments
  • Creating fee sheets and meeting with patients for review
  • Confirming appointments and verifying insurance
  • Obtaining prior authorizations with covered and participating health plans
  • Working on claim denials
  • Weekend, and as needed front-desk coverage

Skills and Requirements:

  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Familiar with basic billing functions, insurances, EOB’s, and administrative level tasks
  • Certification in billing and coding is a PLUS, but not required
  • At least one year’s experience in medical billing/authorizations is a PLUS
  • Pleasant, but confident demeanor in all patient relations is required
  • Full-Time position, Monday – Friday, rotating Saturday hours

Language Ambassador

If you have not worked as a medical assistant, RN, or in billing previously, but are confident with the right training you can excel, we can train you to assist patients in various capacities. If you are proficient in both English written and spoken, as well as a second language, let us know. Due to our strategic geographic location, we service patients from around the world and are always looking for talented individuals who are willing to learn, open to challenges and new opportunities, and who speak one or more of the following languages: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, amongst others.

Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct evaluations for new and established fertility patients
  • Obtain health histories and perform focused physical assessments as appropriate
  • Order, review, and follow up on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Support physicians in developing and managing individualized fertility treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and clinical privileges
  • Document patient encounters, treatment discussions, and follow-up care accurately and thoroughly
  • Educate patients regarding fertility evaluations, treatment options, medications, and next steps
  • Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients throughout their fertility journey
  • Participate in follow-up care, telephone encounters, clinical action items, and patient coordination
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, embryology, and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide cross-coverage and workflow support across providers and APP responsibilities as needed

Skills and Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current Hawaii state license and certification as an APRN or Physician Associate (PA)
  • Experience in fertility, reproductive medicine, women’s health, OB/GYN, urology, or specialty care preferred, but not required
  • New graduates with a strong interest in reproductive medicine are encouraged to apply
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
