Ask the Docs: Fertility Preservation – What are my Options?

On October 23, 2020 Drs. John L. Frattarelli and Anatte Karmon hosted a Facebook Live Session about Fertility Preservation – What are my Options?.

Fertility preservation is more successful now than ever before. With the recent advances in technology, the Fertility Institute of Hawaii is able to cryopreserve embryos, eggs, or sperm for patients in Hawaii. There are many reasons that patients may wish to undergo this process. Male patients may be undergoing a vasectomy and wish to preserve sperm for later use. Female patients may preserve their eggs, as they are currently not yet ready to start a family, but are advancing in biological age. Cancer patients may have the opportunity to preserve their fertility before starting radiation or chemotherapy which has the potential to negatively affect their ability to have children.

Fertility Institute of Hawaii is dedicated to making your fertility journey a safe, successful, and affordable one. We are currently doing many of our appointments from the comfort of your own home via telemedicine and we are now starting to schedule for certain in-office visits as well. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call us at 808-545-2800. Helping to Create New Beginnings…
