Hiroe joined the team at The Fertility Institute of Hawaii as a Senior Embryologist in 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Bioresource Science from Nihon University, Japan in 2006, and is certified by the Japan Society for Ova Research (JSOR). Hiroe has 16 years of experience as an embryologist, educator, and trainer. In addition, she set up two labs, and worked as the head embryologist in four clinics. She specializes in IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection), Piezo-ICSI, PZD (Mechanical Partial Zona Dissection), spindle visualization, oocyte activation, etc. and has handled a variety of cases that have improved pregnancy rates by 10% per year at her last clinic. Through these experiences, she has become deeply aware of the importance of her role. Her attention to detail and technique provide individual care to each embryo.
